March 15, 2013 - Pathologist Prelim Report -FB post

PRELIMINARY RESULTS- The following email is from the staff pathologist who preformed my bone marrow biopsy yesterday.

I wish I words to express how much the love and support everybody has given me has pulled me through 10 days of worry and fear: From meditation, to prayer, to visuals - to writing -to crying. Every comment, and phone call and email would inspire me to keep positive thoughts as best I could - IF YOU SEE A GIRL RIDING TOMORROW AND ACTING CRAZY HAPPY ON A GREEN BIKE - GUESS WHO??? XOXO

"Hi,
I spoke with Dr. Berenson this afternoon to let him know that I don’t see any evidence of myeloma so far. I told him things aren’t finalized yet because we have to wait for the molecular tests, but he seemed quite happy to hear that there is no obvious disease present at this stage of the evaluation.

I’m sorry I can’t be more definitive yet, but if these were slides from my bone marrow that I was looking at through the microscope I would be very happy and encouraged.
Have fun biking,
-JJ"
